This is a crack oneshot. Obviously AU. Very much Character AU as well and canon divergent.
[Edit] Due to some people not reading the tags and throwing accusations in lengthy complaint comments, I have added more tags to clarify their confusion and dismiss their accusations. All comments are being moderated so the readers who are just looking for a non-serious crack can just sit back and enjoy without seeing blocks of complaints over a one shot in the comments.

There's no tine for fighting each other. Not with the Night King and his armies close to Winterfell's gates. Identities called into question like loyalties. Where honor and forgiveness determine who survives to Spring.

Several children have been plagued by dreams of a strange and different world since their childhood. Not knowing what to make of it, Hermione has written down every dream since she could write. Harry never forgets these dreams. There is another who has these dreams.
The night before the day to go to Hogwarts, all of these children dreamed differently. Now from the perspective of certain characters and able to speak their own words. They are horrified by the wars and blood of this dream world. They want to make it better. But, have they made it worse?

The year 1991 brought many new things to Hogwarts. Students left and new students came. What was so different about this incoming class of students?
Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived would be attending. Aresa LeStrange, the girl whose parents and cousin were rotting in Azkaban would be attending. Neville Longbottom, the boy whose parents were as good as dead would be attending. Many students whose families had been affected by the war would be attending.
Magick is in the air. The Goddess who blessed the first witches and wizards with the gift. She has been restless and has decided to do something about the schemes planned to unfold. Change will come and so will balance. The Gods want their recognition again and they no longer want to be ignored. Breaking the weakness of the Wizarding World is their goal but their motive isn't known.

Summary
A self indulgent fic in which season 8 didnt happen the way it did. Written more in the style of the books. Picks up where season 7 ended and follows the general timeline/plot of Season 8, but with characterization that is hopefully more consistent with prior development. From multiple points of view, but it will focus predominantly on Daenerys, as her arc was the one that I felt suffered the most.

All Jon Snow has ever wanted was to protect the North. Formally a simple bastard, now a King and leader of his people, Jon must prepare them against the Long Night. So when he hears of the infamous Dragon Queen's arrival, Jon knows that she is the key to their survival.
While Jon was ready to pay some price for her help, Jon wasn't expecting to fall in love with Daenerys. Naively, Jon believes that their impending doom would make everyone work together, but of course, he's wrong. Between squabbling minor lords and deep-rooted prejudice, the two factions are virtually at war themselves.
But when a long-forgotten Pact comes into the light, it offers a way for the two clashing factions to come together — a method for Westeros to truly heal: the Pact of Ice and Fire.
