“Hi, Cap,” he said, and his lips did the involuntary stretching towards his ears, because they didn't seem to be informed of the new ‘we do not act like a besotted school boy around Steve’ policy. In fact, none of the organs below his brain seemed to be on board with it. His heart was thudding, his palms were sweating and it was all Tony could do to stop his feet from moving past the fridge and straight into Steve’s personal space.
I wonder what he would think if he knew what kind of messages I'm exchanging with random people over the Internet.
He'd probably be horrified.
“JARVIS?” he said into the empty kitchen.
“Yes, Captain Rogers?”
Potential responses began to mass in his mind. JARVIS, I’m an idiot. JARVIS, this crush is getting out of hand. JARVIS, can you imagine any way, any possible way, Tony might be interested in me? JARVIS, some days I’m not sure if he even likes me. JARVIS, I think about him all the time. JARVIS, I’m ninety years old and I’m asking a computer program for advice on my love life. JARVIS, what should I do?
Tony puts out an ad. Steve answers it.

Emotional. Angsty. Sexy. The last bit of the ending is slightly unsatisfying, but I think only because I wanted to see more after they finally dropped the Idiots portion of Idiots In Love.
(Not necessary to read parts 2 and 3. The latter is the first draft of one scene — the former is supposedly an alternative version of another.)
For Clint, getting over his soulbond with Bobbi is not easy: he’s on forced vacation, his tenants are having issues which makes him have issues, and then there’s the overwhelming boredom that makes him bond with fruit. When Coulson finally takes pity on him, he’s allowed a light duty of babysitting a new recruit in the middle of rehabilitation - the Winter Soldier. Very soon, they are friends. Very soon, Clint has a crush, so it’s totally unreasonable to expect him to say no to Bucky’s tongue-in-cheek advances. What is a poor man to do? Clint does what he always does - he wings it.
Clint has an itch. Literally. ;)

An old friend turns up and asks Tony for a favour. Testing out equipment that Ty Stone has problems with sounds like a time-consuming and invasive endeavor, but of course, Tony agrees to be shot up with an implant and date whoever the Disc chooses for him, nevermind that there's only one person he really wants. Besides, who would say no a string of prearranged dates with beautiful people?
But then, the first date is with Steve Rogers, Tony's best friend.

Steve is 19 and has only had one girlfriend. He doesn’t like men, never has, so why the hell does Professor Stark make him feel this way?
A story with a ridiculous amount of anger, internalized homophobia, sexual exploration, self-discovery and pining. In short: it's about how student Steve tries, fails and then tries again to understand what is going on with him while dealing with his crush on a professor.
A former SHIELD agent, Clint Barton, now presumed dead, is caught up in a world of illegal arms deals and human trafficking. To get out, he fucks people for money and business contacts. Will seducing his next target, Tony Stark, help him, or will losing his head and heart ruin him entirely?
Tony is handsome, rich and successful. He's not looking for love, especially not with a paid escort that he meets by accident at an international gun show. Getting caught up in a web of lies and deceit is definitely nothing he expects, nor is a broken heart close to anything he needs.
The story is COMPLETED.
