    Summary

The world was dying, at war for years with alien invaders who were slowly and methodically wiping out humanity. Steve’s hope for the future was nearly gone having fought a losing battle for so long. In what little free time he had, he looked for the dragon sleeping under an old castle that his mother had told him stories about. He knew it was just a fairytale, but at least it was something to do. He never expected to actually find a man locked in a cave filled with magic. Nor did he expect to agree to some strange bargain with him. Steve had expected him even less to actually be a dragon. In a world all but destroyed, can Steve survive the consequences of his own actions?

Darcy had only been trying to casually flirt with Steve Rogers as he ran security for Jane's science excursion.

She had been adjusting her cleavage as covertly as possible when the sky ripped open and began raining interdimensional fire blood.

Now, she and Steve are tumbling through infinite versions of their story, and if Darcy doesn't choose the right Steve, our reality will lose them forever.

    Summary

Barnes had been transferred into the precinct on an idyllic July afternoon when the sky was cloudless and the breeze was perfect, which Tony can remember because they'd been perfect conditions for plenty of time whiled away on the roof, possibly perfecting dubiously legal chemical mixtures.

Tony had, only naturally, been curious. And he’d only grown more curious about the mysterious new arrival when he’d not brought over a single personal item for his desk (Scott, who was happily violating the ‘two items and two photographs’ rule by plastering the ceiling above his desk with pictures of his small and smiling daughter, maintained that this was unnatural and horrifying), and invariably responded with a flat negative when asked out for lunch, coffee, dinner, breakfast, tea, hot chocolate, cold chocolate, and, on one occasion, a sleepover.

    Summary

Bucky tapped him on the shoulder, swaying back and forth a little as he waited for the man to turn around. “Hello,” he said, and then promptly forgot what else he was going to say, because this guy was fucking beautiful. “Wow. Good face.”

Two of the guy’s friends, a man wearing a suit that fit so well it had to be bespoke and a man with a cute little gap between his front teeth, started cracking up. The petite redhead sitting next to them cocked her head to the side and pulled her phone out of her handbag. Beautiful Face just looked kind of pained, so Bucky redirected. He was a gentleman. He could take a hint. No hitting on beautiful guys who were uncomfortable with that sort of thing, no matter how lickable their jawlines were.

“Hello,” he repeated, doing his best to mind his manners. “I’m very sorry to bother you. Can I have a piggy-back ride?”
