    Summary

It's beginning to snow, he can see little flakes falling from the sky. Connor tracks the route of one of them until it disappears from his vision somewhere above and behind them. He suddenly finds that he can't move his head. His thirium has dipped below critical levels and whatever is left is beginning to freeze. His systems has begun to shut down.

'Don't make me go through this again,' the man whispers brokenly as he holds onto Connor's body. 'Please, don't make me go through this again.'

(This story was written with a slight twist to 'Last Chance, Connor' where he doesn't quite manage to escape from Detective Reed unscathed and goes to find Hank before his deactivation. It pretty much goes completely AU from that point onward following the death of Connor-51 and the activation of Connor-52.)

"You know what a green card marriage is, right?" Hank asks.

"Sure," Connor says, dimly amused, because Hank was sweet to come all the way up to Canada, but this is ridiculous. "Who am I marrying?"

What Connor intends to say next is that he isn't that desperate, that his life here might not be what he would pick for himself but that it's also perfectly fine, until Hank pulls a little box from his pocket and opens it.

"I mean," Hank says, "I'm sure you have other options, but I'm offering. As your friend."

Like so many other androids, Connor goes to Canada after the revolution. Android autonomy may have been granted, but things are still dangerous, and he doesn't want Hank to get hurt for protecting him. It was never supposed to be a permanent solution, but by early 2040, a number of legal developments have made it such that androids can only return to the states if they're marrying a citizen.

Connor wants to come home. Jeff wants him back on the force. And Hank just wants him back.

    Summary

Connor's journey in the revolution was cut short when he was executed by Markus in the church: his reward for helping to save the deviants from the attack on Jericho.

Over a year later he's brought back with the deviants at the brink of defeat.

Rejecting Jericho, Connor finds himself being brought into the struggle against his wishes as he realises the cost to all those who helped the deviants in their fight, including those who meant something to him.

Now he has to choose his side - never easy with one of his machine counterparts whispering in his mind and encouraging Connor to take his revenge against Markus.

    Summary

As Connor walked away from Lieutenant Anderson's house for the last time, he heard a gunshot. It meant very little to a machine.

Connor succeeded in his mission from Cyberlife, and as a reward he was replaced with the RK900. His last thought as he was gunned down was that he'd done everything right.

But as RK900 soon discovers, news of their deaths has been greatly exaggerated. He won't let a second chance slip away.

    “Sixty, what have you done?”

“Well,” Sixty said as he started flicking through the pages. At regular human reading speed, another sign that he was causing trouble. “Fowler kept telling me to get off my ass and pick a last name, and Gavin is always saying that I should pick an awful last name to match my awful first name. So last night I went down to city hall and picked the worst name I could think of. You, my friends, are now looking at Sixty Reed.”
