    Summary

It’s been two years since Bucky was medically discharged from the Army. It’s been two years and three months since he was taken captive as a POW.

Will Bucky’s PTSD let him live a normal life? If recovery isn’t linear, what about when it feels like a hurricane, when it chews him up and spits him out without a second glance? Bucky feels like he’s getting the hang of this college thing, but what about the man he keeps running into? Why does he feel a connection to him, when he shouldn’t be thinking about dating, not yet, not this soon?

Wherein Bucky learns that some threads never break, and acceptance can be found if you know where to look.

    Summary

James Buchanan Barnes wishes he had never dreamt of fire. The smell of ash and bone dust follows him everywhere, stuck inside his nose. He feels like an arsonist, watching his life fall victim to the terrible beauty.

Bucky Barnes has been dubbed the greatest writer of his generation. After his PTSD and depression almost get the better of him, he moves back home to Brooklyn to try and find his love of both writing and living. Steve Rogers is an up and coming artist with a passion for literature. Maybe all of Bucky's dreams haven't come true yet after all.

    Summary

Bucky didn't want much. Just to keep his head down, to sell his scavenged flowers in peace, and to stay off Shield's radar. His life would have been a lot easier if his flowers weren't dead and if being a necromancer wasn't illegal, but easy or not, he was getting by. Steve didn't want much, either. He was happy working for Shield, he had good friends, and overall his life was going just about the way he wanted it. Problem was, being happy with your life was generally an invitation for fate to throw a spanner in the works—and in Steve's specific case, it was going to be a spanner named Bucky.

(A love story about flowers, trust, and magic and the choices we make about doing what's right.)

    Summary

He lay the jacket over the Winter Soldier's body. “My name is Steve Rogers, we’re going to get you out of here.” The head turned, wide blue eyes stared up at him. Steve felt his breath catch in his throat.

    “Steve?” the Winter Soldier asked.

After mounting a valiant war effort, Steve’s body finally won out over his mind. He turned and he puked. He was still vomiting even when Natasha shouted for the man to stay still and not move. There, in the tube, frozen in time, lay Bucky Barnes. Natasha was right. Things could always get worse.

"Okay so I had a really unoriginal idea for a fic but like what if Steve had somehow found Bucky before he knew he was the Winter Soldier? Like maybe Bucky hadn't had to fight Steve and stayed in cryo until after Nat busted HYDRA and then he found him and I'm just dying thinking about this omg."

    Summary

When Bucky Barnes accompanies his family to a ceremony dedicated to George Barnes' activity, he expects free food and drinks, the occasional boring speech, and watching his dad blush furiously as he gets to finally meet his childhood hero. What he doesn't expect is saving Captain America's life and getting shot in the process. What follows is a slow road to recovery, eating hospital food (still disgusting), making new friends (Avengers!!! Seriously, the Avengers!) and pining over Captain America (he won't comment on that). It sounds simple, but it really isn’t!
