“Is there anyone else you want us to call?” Ochako asks gently, and Eri chews on her lip and looks down and away. “Do you want me to call Deku?” Ochako pushes, and it’s worth it for the way Eri’s head snaps back up to her, eyes wide with hope, before she looks away again.
“I’ll send him a text!” Mina pipes up, already having her phone out and typing rapidly on it. “He’s just on the other side of the building, Eri-chan,” she waves the phone at her with a wide smile that squints her eyes shut. “All done, he should be here any min-“
The door to the room slams open, making them all jump and jerk their heads towards it. Ochako brings her fists up instinctively, heart hammering in her throat.
“What’s wrong with Eri?” Deku demands, standing in the doorway, green lightning sparking off his skin, eyes shifting around wildly as if looking for a threat, body braced in a battle stance.
(Or: 5 times Eri falls asleep on Izuku + 1 time Izuku falls asleep on her)

“Yo, Izuku-kun!” The boy smiles down at him- curse his short height- slinging his arm around the only marginally shorter teen to his side. “Me’n otouto here were wondering when you were going to show up!”
The short teen smiles bashfully and brushes a hand through his curly green hair.
Yep. You read that right: green.
Izuku, along with his senpai Amari Kazuo, were among the first wave of people in Japan to be what most people were calling “Quirked.” Thankfully for himself, his “quirk” just seemed to be a mutation- hence the greenish hair. It might be much more visible than other “quirked” people, but it was mild in the long run, especially for something that he could pass off as hair dye.

More specifically: Insomniac pessimist versus a cheerful green shrimp who has no quirk but has decided to ignore this minor detail and pretend he has one anyway because he's a maniac, and who is also labouring under the delusion of being Shinsou's best friend when he is, in fact, Shinsou's arch nemesis and the reason he's going to finally crack and turn to a life of villainry and crime.
If he survives the hero course, that is.
Or the entrance exam.
Or life in general, because, you know, it hates him.

... And Izuku's the main player.
In which Izuku has a gamer quirk, and he hasn't yet worked out how he's going to use it to be the number two pro hero (behind Kacchan's number one, obviously) but he figures that's just a minor detail.

When people thought of Poseidon they thought of the sea; Poseidon, Lord of the Seas, Commander of the Waves, the Stormbringer. Upon consideration they would add Earthshaker, for catastrophic events such as earthquakes were hard to forget. Few remembered, however, that Poseidon was also Lord of the Horses. Stormbringer and Earthshaker tended to squeeze that one out.
Percy had been able to talk to horses for as long as he could remember. He liked to think he understood them. Although he's not entirely sure why the new stallion thinks he's its foal.
Poseidon is not jealous that Percy thinks a horse makes a better father figure than himself. At all.
