Tony Stark is not all that he seems.
Then again, neither is anyone else.
Doesn't really involve actual Percy Jackson canon, just taking the concept. You don't need to have read the books or have knowledge of PJO to understand this.

Tony had not always been Anthony Edward Stark.
A long time ago (And I mean a really fucking long time ago. Gods.)
He had been going by something a little bit different.
Or the greek fusion fic that no one asked for. Where Tony is Iron Man, Avenger of the Earth, and Hephaestus, god of fire and metalworking.
(Previous knowledge of Greek mythology not necessary to read this fic.)
They had discussed it before. Of course they had. They battled and defeated one Norse god. They had another routinely walking around the Tower. It was natural for them to speculate if the other Pantheons existed. And once they knew they did, that's all it took. (It was all Clint's fault.)

It started with Thor. He was the first solid proof that the gods of old did technically exist. It was a logical question to wonder if there were other Pantheons out there. Things went from there. Tony just wishes to team would shut up about it.
