Summary
To Beidou, the Jade Chamber is nothing but an ornate prison. The vastness of the halls within serve only as illusions of power and control, while its walls hold Ningguang captive to her duties as one of Liyue’s overseers. Beidou longs to show her what true freedom looks like, even if only for a moment.

“missed you too,” beidou says, voice equally breathy. she presses a kiss to the line of ningguang’s jaw, then pauses. “also, i didn’t know when the best time to say this was, but i, ah, adopted a kid.”

Summary
The first time she meets Lady Ningguang of the Liyue Qixing, Beidou decides right then and there that she's going to dig deep beneath the white-haired woman's skin. By no means is she any expert on the intricacies of the human soul, but there's something utterly intriguing about the mysterious Tianquan herself.
Or, Beidou and Ningguang don't see eye to eye when they first meet. That's okay, though. Really.
