Summary
Let me hurt you before you hurt me...
Miscommunications and the batboys being unable to talk about their feelings leads to much more pain than would have been necessary. If only someone had told Jason and Dick that. Not that Tim hasn't tried.
And Bruce' solution?
A beach vacation.

Summary
“He doesn’t love you.”
It didn’t hurt less the second time.
Porsche couldn’t imagine a time where it hurt any less.
“Why are you so sure?” Maybe Chay saw the agony in Porsche or he was genuinely curious, or perhaps, he needed to lessen the impact of those words.
Vegas kept his eyes on Porsche when he answered, as if he had to watch them sink in.
“Because Kinn would never abandon you if he loved your brother.”

Summary
Pete made a decision then, one that he knew would keep him as safe as he could be. He vowed to give this man a wide enough berth to never, ever end up on his radar. That was vital, integral even. Pete couldn’t afford to be there. Not when that man walked with the confidence of someone who knew how to take what they wanted and didn’t care for opposition. The second Vegas had entered the hallway, that red shirt cascading down his lithe frame that Pete was not fooled into believing held no strength, Pete’s face morphed into the most clueless, the least capable expression he could think of. Like breathing, he let it wash over him, watched Vegas spare him a brief glance before instantly skipping ahead to follow his father.
“What was that?” Arm asked to his right, the raised eyebrow letting Pete know exactly how much of that non-interaction Arm had noticed.
“Nothing.”
“That wasn’t nothing.”
“Let’s call it precaution, then,” Pete said, refusing to elaborate.

Summary
Why don’t you stay?
Funny you should ask that, Chay thought to himself and tried in vain to find humour in it. Because it he didn’t find humour in it, it would be pain, an ache still refusing to settle no matter how much time had passed since his heart had been stomped into the ground by leather boots and a saccharine apology.

Summary
This will revolve around Dean's relationship with Cas. Sam is a supportive brother and a major influence since both of the other two talk to him but not to each other. (And who really wants Destiel without Sammy in it?)

Summary
“Stiles, I’m serious, I need a favour.”
“That sounds like a trap,” Stiles Stilinski muttered sleepily into both his pillows. “You know,” he continued when the man in his room made no move to leave, “you’d think I’d be used to this. My dad, coming into my room, smacking my ass to get me out of bed, waking me up at the ass crack of dawn—”
“It’s almost one.”
“—waking me up at the ass crack of one,” Stiles continued without missing a beat, “and asking for a favour. Given my life growing up with you, you’d think I’d be used to this by now. I think the reason this hits so hard now is that I specifically bought my own apartment so that you couldn’t wake me up at the ass crack of dawn—”
“Stiles, it’s almost one.”
“—so that you couldn’t wake me up at the ass crack of one.”

“Make it your new hobby,” Stiles said mischievously, “Listen to the weirdest podcasts you can find in your free time. Dental podcasts. Pasta lovers podcasts. Podcasts for water bottle enthusiasts. Podcasts for men determined to have sex with cacti.”
Derek caved and burst into laughter at the last one. “Please tell me that’s not actually a podcast you had to transcribe for.”
Stiles grinned and waggled his eyebrows. “You’ll never know,” he sing-songed.
