I got hypothermia.” Wei Ying says all of this with the same easy demeanor that he uses when he tells playground stories about Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli, like he’s not discussing trauma. “When you get hypothermia once you’re more susceptible to it in the future, which is a fun side effect.” He shrugs and kisses Lan Zhan’s neck with lips that are still cold but not horribly so. “I just get cold easy now. I’m used to it.”
“Mn,” Lan Zhan says, and means, “We’ll fucking see about that.”
Or: Wei Ying is not allowed to be cold, therefore Lan Zhan must learn to knit.

Summary
The truth of the matter was that when it came to taking care of people and their problems, both he and Wei Ying were of one mind. However, whereas Lan Wangji was taught to care for himself as much as other people, Wei Ying, from early age, was taught that him having needs was burdensome. He disregarded his own pain with frightening ease and offered up evey part of himself for others to use with no reservation.
Thus, Lan Wangji made sure that his husband's needs were never overlooked, his hurts never unadressed.
So it was that when they purified an ancient temple and its goddess benevolently offered them each a wish in return, Wei Ying asked for his family: for Jiang Cheng to never have lost his parents and his core, for Jiang Yanli to never have lost her husband and her own life because of him; Lan Zhan asked for Wei Ying.

Summary
The Junior quartet traveled back to the past on an experiment gone wrong. They just wanted to turn back time to pass (cheat) on an exam! They did NOT want to time travel right into the middle of the Sunshot campaign! Why do they always seem to get themselves into trouble???
Ultimately using this chance to make things right and deciding to not let their beloved Senior Wei die and determined to have the Senior Wei x Hanguang-Jun ship sail earlier, the juniors decided to do everything they can!
