In a diverged canon, elves and humans have been kidnapping citizens from the other side since the beginning of the war. Kidnapped to be a singer at the age of 7, Rayla is starting to resign herself to never going back home, but a chance encounter at the birthday party of the eldest prince of Katolis could spell getting her freedom back and finally returning home, though she might be leaving her heart in Callum’s hands.

The Land Down Under, a place filled with snakes, spiders, drop bears and more. THAT Callum was expecting… the enigmatic Scottish girl who immediately catches his eye? Not so much.
And when she proposes they go adventuring in the Outback? Well, who is he to say no?
Follows backpacking lovebugs Callum and Rayla, as they traverse Europe by train.
31 days of beaches, forests, mountains, tiny villages, big cities, piles of skulls, cramped quarters, pee-smelling hostels, puke-ridden sea voyages, boredom-ridden land journeys, ancient ruins, new feelings and old ghosts.
Combines Callum’s illustrated travel journal spreads (with guest annotations) and written chapters.

Claudia nods at the die in his hand. “That’s from Battlecharged, isn’t it? That old game we used to play? You and I were mages, Soren was a knight, your dad was so lawful good, it hurt. Remember?”
“Oh, yeah.” Callum chuckles a little and tosses the die in his hand. “It’s funny. I thought this was bigger.”
“We were smaller then.”
Callum snorts. “I suppose. But I swear there was a bigger one too. The runes glowed. It was supposed to be a key or something?”
“Oh?” says Claudia. The air shifts. “Weird. Where would it be?”
There’s a pause. Suddenly Callum can’t even hear the waves anymore, and it’s just him and Claudia and a threat in her smile.
“Where’s the cube, Callum?”
