    Summary

    Marriage.

It's not like he's opposed to the institution, it's just...

Jon sighs, and signals at a waiter to come refill his glass. He'd ordered a whiskey for himself, and a glass of red for his date, who is now verging on fifteen minutes late. Her bio – because apparently these families send out resumes for their eligible daughters – said she likes red wine. He doesn't remember much else, he'd barely skimmed it. He hadn't even looked at the picture.

    It doesn't matter.

He's going to marry this girl, he's decided.

    Summary

Sansa was determined to convince her aunt to let Arya debut, which is how she finds herself in her current predicament.

“Who is this secret gentleman who has asked for your hand?” Aunt Lysa asks, and Sansa knows from her tone that she does not believe. (She has every right not to believe, for it is not true.)

And then Sansa does something very, very foolish.

    She says a name.

    “The Duke of Dragonstone!”

Or, Sansa fakes an engagement so that Arya can debut and marry the man she loves. The only problem? Her fake fiance just so happens to be in the city when he was not supposed to be.

Aragorn had grown accustomed to leaning on Boromir after battles. He was always there: a steady, familiar presence on the long road from Parth Galen to the towers of Minas Tirith, and then to the Black Gate beyond.

    Summary

A hastily scrawled letter delivered to the Reach at the end of Robert’s Rebellion and a proposal put forth by the scheming Queen of Thorns changes everything. Forced to hide their plots for fear of retribution, seventeen years after the letter's delivery the time has come for House Tyrell to finally play their golden rook and secure themselves a king. Lavinia Tyrell is sent north, whilst Jon Snow is sent south. A meaningless exchange to those who do not know better, but an exchange nonetheless that will alter the very playing field of the Game of Thrones.

The Tyrells now have a king in their grasp. A true king. And with the youngest of their golden roses entangled with Robb Stark in the north, it is only a matter of time until secrets are brought to light and an alliance is struck. Kings are discovered, Queens are made, and all the while, the Seven Kingdoms have no idea of the power that has been hidden amongst them for years. Power that manifests itself in a boy on the cusp of manhood.

A boy with the power to end the game, once and for all.

A boy born of Ice and Fire.

    Summary

Robb knows duty, he learned it standing at his father’s knee and sitting in his mother’s lap before he had a concept of what it actually meant. He was born to be Lord of Winterfell, Warden of the North. Kingship was never supposed to be on the table for him. But his family has been torn apart one too many times, and war seems endless; his only option now is to burrow in for the long winter, no matter the cost.

(And if that cost is his life? Well it’s a calculated risk he took the day they laid that weighty bronze circlet on his brow, naming him King.)

    Or;

When the Tyrells switch allegiance before Robb Stark can be killed by the Lannisters, it only serves to stoke the fires of the wars in Westeros, the after effects rippling across the realm for years to come.
