Hannibal Lecter is the Chesapeake Ripper.

“Lao Wen?  Ah Xing?” Zishu ducked into his line of sight, eyes roving over his face.  “Where are you going?”

It took Kexing a few swallows for his voice to work, vocal chords still fused shut, “Home?”  He hadn’t meant it as a question, but surely it was obvious.  Isn’t that what Zishu had wanted?  He had left.  He had left, hadn’t he?

Zishu settled his other hand on Kexing’s other elbow, grounding him, centring him.

“Why are you going home, Ah Xing?  Did I do something wrong?”

Kexing blinked.  “I’m supposed to go?  I always go.”

Or: Wen Kexing learns what aftercare is.

    Summary

Hannibal had known from the moment he met him that something was different about Will Graham.  Not wrong, exactly- no, he certainly wouldn’t call it that- but just strange.  At first he’d thought it was just a side effect of his general social awkwardness and his empathy.  But as time went on, Hannibal became more and more convinced that he was missing something.

It wasn't until the incident with the spiders that he found out what.
