    Summary

He names himself Stark because he wants it to be true. Stark, he figures, is the American for Shtark, which is Yiddish for Strong, and that’s the one thing the thirteen year-old-boy who will one day be known as Howard Stark Sr. wants to be.

Neither Russia nor America were Prauge; perhaps here, if they wanted Strong Men, they'd have to become them themselves.

"'He accused me of being ‘Dumbledore’s man through and through,’' says the boy, and you laugh, because you can imagine the exact tone in which Scrimgeour would have said these words—gruffly, squinting his eyes.

You reply: 'How very rude of him.'

    'I told him I was.'

And there it is—the pang in your chest, the retch in your stomach, the lump in your throat—all of it the price of the loyalty you’ve cultivated so carefully over the past decades."

Albus Dumbledore contemplates loyalty and its costs as he gazes at the boy sitting across the desk from him.

“Dad, I don’t like Mr Thanos. He’s an alien.” Peter insisted.

“He’s not an alien.” Tony sighed, turning the car into the road leading to Little Heroes Kindergarten. “I know what you’re trying to say, but you can’t keep shouting things like that in public, especially in this political climate-”

    Summary

Dropping his loose hook on Grantaire’s wrist, Enjolras looks down and takes a half step back. “I don’t want you to think I’m being presumptuous, offering you to stay—"

“I wouldn’t presume!” Grantaire says quickly. “I don’t want to make you uncomfortable, I know you don’t, what you feel for me isn’t—“ he cuts himself off at the horror dawning across Enjolras’ features.

“You know about that?” he asks quietly.

Grantaire laughs, bitter and low, and Enjolras takes another step back, hurt flickering in his eyes. “I think everyone knows how you feel about me, Enjolras.”

The story of Les Misérables, set against the backdrop of France in the 1960s. Politics, printshops, and a good hearty helping of progress. Contains altogether too many historical references.
