Remus is an Imposter among the crew. He knows N-3 knows it's him. He does not know who Red is, and everything from Before is out of reach. Remus keeps him around, if only because things have become very interesting.
Of course, the ultimate goal of being an Imposter is the death of everyone on the ship. No one is exempt from that.

There isn’t even a real reason why he’s feeling so fucking stressed. Sometimes he just has days where little, tiny things that bother him aren’t able to be ignored and it’s like all his bottled annoyance and stress is going to be felt today.
Jaskier already feels like he’s about to cry, and he hasn’t even been awake for five fucking minutes.

In that festival, Roman performed by himself in a one-man show. He reached towards the sky, and controlled a dragon made of fire. His feet left the earth, and he sang a vibrant and thrilling musical as he practically flew among the village commons.
The flames danced with Roman and he felt alive.

Her name sat on his tongue, and he so dearly wanted to ask questions. Wanted to bash down the crude and horrible rumors that surfaced about her like she was something to laugh at, like the cruel names they called her were for a runaway slut and not a dead girl taken underneath their noses.
It shakes him to the core to know that even the plants didn’t know the details about what happened to her, that they had seen her taken in the night and heard her scream terrible screams that faded away.
At that point in the story, Billy had foolishly hoped that she was still alive.

Zuko doesn’t join the freedom fighters. It’s too risky for him and his uncle, and his uncle is the most important person to him. The freedom fighters hold a hate for the fire nation that makes Zuko know that he’ll never fit in with them; the inner fire within his body is enough proof for that.
He’s a survivor, but he’s still a firebender.
But Zuko, even though he’ll never admit it out loud, is lonely. He has Uncle, but Uncle is old and aging, and Zuko can’t connect with him in the way he so craves to have with someone. Being with Jet soothes that ache, makes Zuko feel alive in a way that oh so rarely happens anymore.
So when Jet asks if they can meet in two days after they arrive in Ba Sing Se, Zuko says yes.
