Summary
This is basically a very, very slow-burn-y fic. They're progressing from friendship to a relationship, and let's just say I didn't realize I would ever publish this until the second I'm writing this and actually it's a very bad idea but I'm doing it anyway. The work will be alternating between Eddy and Brett POV, but Brett's will be his take on the events that will occur in Eddy POV. So. Yeah.
Excerpt:
Was he not good enough? Was that why she left him?
Or was he good enough but the other guy was better than him?
Or maybe the guy played violin, piano, and tuba and had been a child prodigy who toured the world and was now a millionare.
Or maybe...
Brett sat next to him on the couch, where he'd been sitting for the past half hour thinking up reasons his girlfriend could have said the words she'd said. "Dude, you okay?"

The door slams open.
And slams isn’t a strong enough word. It rockets into the wall and Tony even sees some of the wall and ceiling crumble with the force of it, and he jumps out of his skin and turns around and sees Peter strolling inside like he didn’t just do that.
“HEY,” Peter yells, and he yells, and the kid has always been pretty loud but he just literally screamed, and Tony stares at him with wide eyes, and Peter waves at him like he’s completely normal and not at all yelling.

Summary
It was innocent; all Ethan did was loan Mark his jacket, completely forgetting his iPod was inside. It was cute, honestly, it was—who still uses iPods anymore (especially someone with the funds that Ethan has)? Nevertheless, it didn't have a password, and Mark was curious about Ethan's music taste.
In his defense, he never would've expected to find a playlist with his name as the title.
