  1. Summary

I had this image of Alessandro Nesta as an old-fashioned Italian nobleman, facing off with Zlatan the swordsman. It kind of ballooned from there, and in the end it's a sprawling historical epic covering over a hundred years, the majority of Europe, footballers I never even had the slightest interest in (I tried to use a footballer name for even the bit parts), and Zlatan's entire (fictional) emotional development. This series has a strong secondary cast but it's about Zlatan. He ate my brain.

This story was a labor of love, complete with ridiculous hours spent in my university library and spreadsheets to keep track of the timeline. It is also deeply crackfic.

Written between Summer 2007 and Spring 2009.

  2. Summary

So many angel-devil jokes surround AC and Inter Milan that it was inevitable. Zlatan the demon thoroughly messes up theology, a couple of angels, and cooking, yet still manages to come out on top.

I started this series as a one-off product of a very bad bout of insomnia, and then basically fell in love with the idea of demon!Zlatan running around Milan with angel!Paolo and angel!Sandro welcoming him home with gourmet food. And then Figo got in there, and a bunch of Spanish footballers, and it just kept going. This is still one of my favorite collections of stories, just for all the ridiculous little worldbuilding details I came up with.

  4. Summary

Stiles Stilinski and Scott McCall, childhood best friends who were separated, now reunite to get to know each other again. Since Scott's a werewolf and Stiles is a new graduate of Miskatonic University (which is proving strangely attractive to Peter-Hale-shaped werewolves), they've got quite a bit to catch up on.

The first four stories interlock and should not be read separately or out of order.

    Summary

A Coffee Shop AU with a twist. Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff were thrown together by fate but now run one of the most successful food trucks in the five boroughs. This is a story of how they came to be, how romance can bloom in strange places, and how the bonds of family aren’t always constricting.

    Summary

“I’m not the mom,” Shane says, drowsily appalled.

Ryan raises his eyebrows. “I didn’t say you were the mom,” he soothes, sincere in the way that Ryan kind of always is, even when he’s being sarcastic. “I just said they reacted to you as if you were the mom.”

“It’s -- that’s the same thing,” Shane protests, but quietly, because he has a tiny ghost perched on his hip and he doesn’t want to wake her. It. Whatever. It’s kind of hard to tell, because they don’t look like people, exactly, more like -- outlines.

Actually, ironically, what they really look like is people covered in sheets, round at the top and kind of vague at the bottom, but Shane has stopped trying to say that because Ryan gets mad about it. He thinks it’s disrespectful.

Shane thinks it’s disrespectful that he was made step-parent to a bridge full of baby ghosts without anybody asking him, but sure. Pointing out that they look like sheets is the problem.

    Summary

Shane is pacing around the hotel room. It’s not a huge room and Shane’s legs are long enough that he doesn’t have much real estate to pace before he has to swing back around for another loop.

“Can you stop?” Ryan asks. “You’re making me dizzy.”

“Okay,” Shane says finally. “Okay. Here’s what we’re going to do. We’re just going to—we’re going to be married. The only way out is through.”

“Um,” Ryan says, because this plan strikes him as counterproductive to their shared goal of not being married.

Post-Amok Time. “The only conclusion M'Benga can draw, based on all McCoy's questions about Vulcans, is that the man is enamored with Commander Spock. Someone should really tell him that pigtail-pulling stops being cute when you're eight.” Misunderstandings, genfic, humor.
