    Summary

"She was acutely aware that it was unwise to let something that could once have been deemed summer romance blossom into full-blown crush instead."

There is surely no better way for Waverly Earp to celebrate becoming a college graduate than to accept her sister’s offer to join her on her travels for the summer. Waverly studied Classical History, why shouldn’t she live and breathe it in Greece for a while? But while Waverly gears up for time abroad to explore the past, something much more exciting is brewing in the present when she meets a red-haired traveller in the hostel dining room…

[Join us for a fun-filled, big ol’ Greek vacation in which the Earp sisters reconnect after 10 years, Wynonna and Nicole have been hostel buddies for long enough to pretend to hate each other constantly, and Waves and Nicole fall in love amongst the ruins of Ancient Greece…]

'“So are we not supposed to be asking who’s got you smiling down at your phone like that?” Jeremy asks.

“If you mean the person who's been helping me get the last of my thesis documentation, then you're way off base...I mean, I'm happy they’re so helpful and all, but we’re keeping it pretty profesh,” Waverly says, ignoring that voice in the back of her head: liar liar liar.'

Waverly Earp is a stressed History PhD student grappling with an unfulfilling relationship, a MIA sister, and that greatest evil of all: primary source procurement. Nicole Haught is a trainee cadet in Ottawa, banished to the college archive after she injures herself in the field.

When Waverly contacts the Ontario Police College to request access to their archival materials, she's not really expecting anything more from the person on the other end than document retrieval. She’s definitely not expecting a long-distance connection, or friendship, or more...

(Or, the one where they're miles apart and they still fall in love anyway).

    Summary

“Eternity never looked all that appealing back in the days when I had no one to spend it with…”

It is always a bustling Saturday night in the strange and ethereally charming city of San Junipero. Beautiful young things come here to party their troubles away for one night a week, but for Waverly Earp being new in town is overwhelming. This is a place for ghosts; a city where everyone is dead or dying. Everyone, that is, except her.

Waverly does not know a single other soul in the city, and on that very first night she feels lost amongst the hubbub. After years of lonely hospital bedrooms she is desperate for the chance to leave her body behind and enter a hedonistic world of virtual reality. She just needs someone who might show her the ropes, who might remind her how it feels to really be alive.

That is when an enigmatic, red-haired woman walks right into Waverly’s (after)life...

    Summary

It was almost noon when Camp Purgatory came into view, a village of tents surrounding a large wooden building labelled Homestead in bold black letters. It stood against the backdrop of the mountains in the distance, rising from the forest at their feet, imposing and beautiful with their white crests in the morning sun. The dark blue and orange Camp Purgatory flag was waving high atop the flagpole in front.
