Sherlock hates it when people try to "solve" him. When he discovers that Watson has been catching up on some recent medical literature, most notably the DSM-V's section on Autism Spectrum Disorders, he does not react well.

Sighing, John looked down at his toast. He wasn't averse to talking about this. It was just the bluntness that knocked him off balance. Sherlock did have a way with getting straight to the point, on some topics anyway. "I'm going to eat my toast and drink my tea, and then I will have this conversation." Best to be clear.
"Alright. Should I be silent?"

He calls himself a sociopath because he’d rather be hated than pitied.
John sighed. “I changed the calendar already. You just threw out tomorrow.”
Sherlock sank into the chair at John’s desk, but didn’t say anything. John studied him for a minute before realizing that it was a symbolic gesture. Sherlock wanted to skip the next day. Wanted John to not have to endure it.
