Summary
Darcy Lewis has had a very special skill set from a very early age. SHIELD's fancy name for it was acquisition. Simply put Darcy can obtain those hard to find items that people need. Stick of gum in the middle of class? A laptop in the middle of the New Mexico desert? A super-soldier proof alarm clock? Darcy can find it for you.
Steve starts to make use of Darcy's skill set early. And then, he just keeps on breaking things and needing new ones.
When Bucky comes in from the cold, well, that's two super soldiers to buy things for.

Summary
Darcy Lewis is only really good at three things. Taking care of careless people, cooking, and putting things in order. She is all right at magic. Decently ok at Monopoly and absolute rubbish at the rest of her life.
When her best friend and employer lands her dream job at Avengers Tower she doesn't expect to be left behind. She's abandoned out of hand without a job or an apartment she can afford.
Super heroes are assholes, the fallen are a lot of fun, and sometimes the bottom is a great place to start.

Summary
Most people assume Darcy's pretty flighty. She suspects it's probably something to do with her porn star rack and the nine non-required electives she took in college. But she hasn't wavered once in her career path since she demanded her fifth birthday be super PAC-themed, excepting a brief period in seventh grade when a bad algorithm on a career test told her she should be in law enforcement.
The school counselor made everyone re-take the test a week later and Darcy was restored to her rightful place as a future secretary, but after that, the niggling suspicion that it would feel good to carry a gun always stuck around in the back of her mind.
