(Alternate title: This (Fic)'s Already Got Better)

In what would later be termed a nearly miraculous coincidence...

Harry saw a figure with long, red hair feeding the ducks through his blurry glasses and thought -- "Mum?"

(Or: Crowley decided to try growing his hair out again for a few months of 1986, on a whim, and this happened.)

    Summary

Thirty-odd years after time was turned back, the war is won, the Monarchs are dead, and Jin-Woo is… no longer human, long since broken down into something Other, and then risen again as his own monster-god. He feels that more on some days than others, with an ever-growing army of dead at his back and the rest of eternity laid out in front of him, and not much attachment left to anyone or anything beyond a handful of individuals he still considers his.

His to guard, his to keep, his to hoard, because once upon a time in another life, they were friends and allies and almost-enemies who'd each glimpsed at least a little of his shadow-drenched inheritance. They'd looked into the void of his dominion, however unknowingly or even unwillingly, and Jin-Woo has never been all that good at letting go.

(Besides, one could definitely argue that this wasn't all on Jin-Woo alone. Woo Jin-Chul definitely helped goad him into it.)
