    Summary

Harry Potter needed Severus Snape, from the moment that Lily Evans Potter fell to the floor in a flash of green light and sealed Harry’s life in love—that much was clear. What Severus Snape is more reluctant to admit, of course, is that the inverse is also true.

    Summary

Harry is trying his best, honest.

But sometimes he can't see the board in class, or can't hold his wand correctly, or write as neatly as his Professors would like.

Sometimes his hands shake, or he isn't as tall and strong as he should be, or he falls asleep in class even with a full nights sleep.

Sometimes he flinches at loud voices and fast movements, or has nightmares and headaches that won't go away, or wants to stay in bed for days at a time because it'd be much too difficult to get up.

    Harry's doing fine, honest.

Except he isn't, and no one seems to care. Or notice.

    Until someone does.

(Follows Harry into his sixth year, dealing with the aftermath of Sirius' death, his relatives abuse, and the evergrowing threat of Voldemort, featuring a little help from people least expected.)

    Summary

When Harry's name comes out of the Goblet of Fire, he is kicked out of Gryffindor Tower by those he thought of as friends. It isn't until Snape finds him that the truth comes out about The Boy Who Lived

"‘freaks sleep on the floor, freaks stay in cupboard, freaks don’t get to have friends.’ His Aunt and Uncle's words filled his head as sobs finally overtook his small frame. This is where he belonged, on the dusty floor all alone. He shouldn't be near other people; nobody wants to be near a freak.
That night Harry cried himself to sleep as panic and sobs wreaked havoc on his too-small body. He paid no mind to the cold or the aches in bones. When he woke up the next morning he refused to move. This was his place now, and this is where he would stay."
