“You think I’m naive,” Kaoru whispered - there was not an ounce of venom in this accusation.
Silence. Confirmation. The needle was put back into place by tan fingers.
“I think you’re worthy of love.”
Kojiro pierces Kaoru's lip, but for all the wrong reasons.
It hadn't been like that before— not before The Incident, when Kojiro dropped everything to help Kaoru recover. Having Kojiro's full focus on him made everything seem new and exciting again. It made Kaoru realize he hadn't seen Kojiro alone with a girl in months; it made him realize he was jealous because he wanted Kojiro all to himself now.
Kaoru had had Kojiro for fifteen years and now he decided he wanted him? Kaoru was so stupid.
people know them as 'joe' and 'cherry blossom', but together they are simply kojiro and kaoru.
Anyone who’s had the pleasure of admiring Sakurayashiki Kaoru up close, probably thought the exact same thing: holy shit, this guy is gorgeous.
At least, that’s what Kojiro’s thinking as he’s observing the man currently sleeping in his bed.
- Part 3 of you feel like home (to me)
They don’t talk about it. About whatever’s going on between them. It’s strictly physical, Kaoru tells himself. An arrangement out of convenience.
Though, sometimes it swims to the surface; those feelings he’s kept within the caged walls of his heart.
