But Lucy is lifting it easily, practically bouncing up the stairs like it weighs nothing. Her bicep and forearm muscles are standing out from below the sleeve of her hideous blouse, and Kate’s brain experiences the spinny wheel of death.
Okay, so Lucy is ripped. That’s fine. That’s fine! That’s totally fine. Kate is fine. She can focus on her mission and not be distracted by the hot Texan with the huge eyes and enormous muscles and an apparent affinity for ugly ass floral prints. She’s a professional. She’s fine.
