Summary
Feeling more helpless and alone than he has in years after watching Sirius die, Harry decides that he's going to take some control of his own fate. So even though he knows Sirius wouldn't have wanted it, he decides to study the magic Voldemort and his followers will be using to try to kill him. In the course of this study, he will discover something so much greater.
