“Huh,” Lumine mutters as she stares at the calculations she had written in the paper before her.
“What is it?” Venti pipes in, leaning so that his chin nearly touches her shoulder. A proximity he does not mind, honestly. Not when he can feel her warmth and her fresh, floral scent that never seem to leave his memory. He follows her gaze and tries to make heads or tails of the scribbles Lumine is currently preoccupied with.
“This calculation should be the closest to accuracy we can get…” she trails off.
Annoyed by the unnecessary suspense, Venti turns his head to look at her, only to be surprised at the sudden faint blush in the loveliest shade of pink that has spread all over her cheeks.
“Lumi?”
“Oh, um….” she stutters. “Well, based on this… today should be day thirteen of the second month in my homeworld. Which means, tomorrow would be the Day of Love.”
“Oh.” Venti murmurs. “Well, what a coincidence.”
“What?” Lumine shifts away to get a better look at him. “What is it?”
“Well, dearest Lumine, Mondstadt’s Valentine’s Day is also tomorrow.” he grins, suddenly liking the turn of events.
