Your best friend’s a vigilante. Or possibly a hero, or maybe a villain – you’re never sure of the label you should attach today.
An odd little ficlet inspired by binge-watching the Arrowverse, because I've already binge-watched everything else.
There's a serial killer on the loose in LA, and the LAPD need an expert in vigilantes to catch him. Lucifer Morningstar thinks he knows just the guy ...

They had eaten, and drunk, and cleared away – Karen and Foggy and Colleen had done most of the clearing, while the others lay about in various states of post-Christmas dinner stupor.
Danny, being Danny, was the first to recover and sit up. “Jenga,” he said.
Foggy, who had just flopped down again, raised his head from Marci’s shoulder. “What now?”
“Jenga!” Danny repeated, and got up from his seat. “I bought a Jenga set. Because it’s Christmas and we should be playing family games.”

On the morning of his birthday, Frank Castle wakes up and realises he’s getting old. There’s an ache in his left hip and another in his left shoulder which aren’t going away any more, and when he looks at himself in the mirror he sees mostly grey stubble.
Foggy finds the light switch, flicks it on and turns back around, to study his potential client more closely. He sees a man in black, one sleeve of the long-sleeved top ripped and bound roughly with a bandage. He looks fit, and weary, and his eyes are unfocused and directed roughly over Foggy’s left shoulder.
Foggy Nelson is successful, happy and comfortably ensconced in a good job - so why has he agreed to defend a blind vigilante he doesn't even know?
The day after Aslan left, taking the magic with him, just about everyone else left, too.
After the coronation festivities, the real work begins. During/post "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe".
