    Summary

The only thing worse than Dean’s disastrous business trip was having fly back home afterwards. At least the airport stocked good whiskey, and by some fluke Dean got upgraded from claustro-hell to first class. The handsome, blue-eyed passenger next to him was also a perk, especially since he didn’t mind talking Dean through his flight anxiety when the plane hit turbulence. And it worked… until the plane plummeted from the sky. Positive that he’s a dead man, Dean found himself confessing his deepest secrets to Blue Eyes. Everything from his shady childhood to his closeted sexuality. But the real kicker is that they DIDN’T crash. Which meant Dean told a nameless stranger his greatest secrets.

The last thing Dean expected was to run into Blue Eyes again, but a surprise inspection from the company’s CFO, Castiel Shurley, brought the man back into his life. Turned out the guy he spilled his guts to? That’s his boss. To Dean’s amazement, Castiel is interested in him despite his troubled past, and the more time they spend together, the more Dean realizes that they aren’t so different.

Even though their plane landed, it feels like the two men are still falling.

Castiel Novak is an influential politician with the world in his hands. He’s driven, successful, and determined to change the course of history for the better. There’s only one problem—he has a wild and rebellious teenage daughter who cares nothing for the risks that come with being a Novak. For Claire’s own safety, Castiel hires a bodyguard to protect her, but Dean has his own ideas about what the Novak family really needs. As Dean’s constant presence drives a lust-drunk Castiel to bring back long-forgotten pleasures to cope, this makeshift family will have to learn to navigate the very fragile space between family, poetry, politics, and love.

    Summary

Castiel Novak meets Dean Winchester in the summer of 1989 when they’re both ten years old. Growing up in small town Kansas is as all-American as climbing trees and little league baseball, but the carefree days of childhood can’t last forever. With adolescence comes new challenges, and Cas finds himself frustrated by decisions Dean makes that he can’t understand. After a big fight junior year, they stop speaking for months, and when tragedy strikes Cas’s family, there’s only time for a quick, heartfelt goodbye before the Novaks move away.

Six years later, after the death of his father, Cas takes a semester off from grad school and returns to Kansas. There he finds the woods where they used to play bulldozed into a housing development and the Winchester family similarly fractured and gone. In relaying this news to his mother, he learns Dean was keeping secrets of his own as they grew up, forced by circumstances to take on too much too young. Armed with this new information, Cas impulsively decides to drive west to find him and try to make things right.

    Summary

Dean is living the dream: he gets to help people and shake his ass, and he gets paid for it. Gabriel Milton’s horny hospice is a fun place to work, but sees its fair share of technical difficulties. When the front desk computer malfunctions, the burden to call tech support falls on Dean. The man on the other end has a voice that does things to him, and if he’s lucky, IT man Cas just might feel the same way.

The only thing that’s missing is his estranged brother. Dean wouldn’t have had to lie to him if it wasn’t for their deadbeat father, more obsessed with a life of crime than raising his own children. Even worse than the thought of never hearing from Sam again is the possibility of growing into someone who even vaguely resembles John Winchester, and that is a chance Dean simply cannot take.

Come to think of it, maybe Dean’s dream life could use some healing after all.

    Summary

Dean Winchester was a Familiar meant for the wide-open spaces of the frontier. An ad in the paper combined with increasing pressure from his grandfather to sign a contract with a Witch of Samuel’s choice was just the motivation Dean needed to leave the big city behind.

What he expects to find is a year of hard work and rough living cleansing the land of magics that corrupted it centuries ago. What he doesn’t expect is that the Witch waiting for him just might be exactly what he has been looking for his whole life.

Castiel Angelus is cautiously optimistic that the Familiar he’s agreeing to work with, sight unseen, will be a good fit for his power. He’s chosen to work on the frontier in order to escape his demanding family and their unceasing ambitions.

He finds that Dean’s compatibility is beyond his wildest dream. Their bonds, both magical and personal, will be tested to the limits as they encounter the source of the corruption and seek to defeat it, before it’s too late.
