Summary
Steve is not thrilled when Danny convinces the Five-0 team to dress up as Captain America characters for a group of sick children to enact a play; the whole process begins to brings out the complicated feelings Steve has for his partner and begins to affect their already strained friendship. To make matters worse, their attempt at charity and fun is marred when Danny is abducted by a mercenary looking for information regarding one of Steve’s past SEAL missions. “It’s lovely,” Tanjiro said. Inosuke pressed his hand against Tanjiro’s with a grunt, his eyebrows beginning to furrow in frustration. “Wait, it’s for me?”
He was expecting an outburst of an answer. Something along the lines of ‘of course Gonpachiro’ and how great he was for gifting his subordinates with such treasures.
Inosuke didn’t say anything though. He just nodded and kept his hand held out. "
Tanjiro's poor pining heart can't take Inosuke's sudden careful and affectionate actions.

One year, five months, and seventeen days, Steve almost replies, the counter forever running in his head, but reminds himself that no one actually knows.

“So, when’s the wedding?” one perp grins nastily while cuffed to the chair in the interrogation room, clearly attempting to rile them.It’s called a civil union, you schmuck, Danny almost corrects, but catches himself just in time.

Or, just because everyone keeps making that same joke about them acting like an old married couple, doesn’t mean Danny and Steve didn’t get a clue quite some time ago. Not their fault everyone else is rather slow to catch on.Series
