“Todoroki, you’re a dick,” Kaminari has no sense of self-preservation, the idiot. Why is Eijirou only surrounded by assholes and morons these days? “Also, that guy just demolished about seventy percent of the street. Why aren’t you freezing him yet?”
The half-cold half-hot hero squints at the villain on top of a fallen building. “He’s just…standing there. Isn’t it against the hero policy to attack someone who is incapable of fighting back?”
“Incapable of fighting back. Incapable of fighting back. Not a villain who has his guard down!” Why is he explaining this to the best guy of their year? Today was supposed to be an off day for all of them. Why is Eijirou the only one suffering? Also, where the fuck is Bakugou?
The one where Izuku skipped UA and went to infiltrate the villain alliance instead, got All for One, and destroyed it three days before Katsuki's nineteenth birthday. All within plan. Except, Kacchan ruined that when he showed up with his friends right after Izuku dealt the last blow.

Midoriya crumples up the letter, his fists clenching.
How many times did he hear those words? Everyone’s oh so sorry around him. They’re so sorry he failed Yuuei’s practical exam. They’re so sorry he’s Quirkless. They’re sorry he can never become a Hero.
“Izuku…” His mum’s voice is filtered through the door, as well as her distress.
He throws the letter away. It’s over.
(Canon divergence where Midoriya Izuku never meets All Might, never inherits One For All, never attends Yuuei.)

Midoriya Izuku had grown up bullied because he didn't have a quirk. Handled with kid's gloves because he also lacked a soulmate.
Told he could never be a hero by the person he look up to the most.
Filled with rage at everyone that had ever doubted him, he left to become something they wouldn't see coming, to get back at every single one of them for doubting him.
He left to become a villain.

With one last shot at redemption, Izuku struggles with his morality, memory, and loyalties as he's forced to question everything he thought he knew.
Villain!AU but with a happy ending.
