After a near-death experience, all Kiana wanted was a good night's rest. Unfortunately, the memories of the previous Herrscher of the Void, as it turned out, were quite adept at forming nightmares.
A storm raged outside, dawn was still hours away, and suddenly sleep was far out of her reach.
Luckily (?), she wasn't the only Herrscher awake at this hour.

Upon possessing K-423 for the first time at the beginning of 2010, Sirin found herself facing an impossible opponent.
Her hate told her to lash out wildly. Instead, she chose deception.
Perfectly conscious within the Void Core, Sirin's plan was simple: Play dead, bid her time, then take her host's body when the girl least expected it and lay waste to humanity.
Unfortunately, said host seemed to be a sentient mass of suicidal stupidity who couldn't be left unsupervised. Sirin simply had to get involved.
That hadn't been part of the plan.

Tesla was many things, from a brilliant inventor to a more than decent chemist. If she wanted to, she could easily nab herself an expansive collection of scientific awards.
What Tesla wasn't, however, was a babysitter.
So it was pretty puzzling how, in a chilly winter afternoon of 2010, Einstein somehow concluded that Tesla was the perfect person to raise some pint-sized clone girl with a Herrscher Core.
Oh, well. At least Kiana seemed well-behaved enough.

That was supposed to have been the end of it.
Kiana was most certainly not supposed to get the memories of the Herrscher of the Void, responsible for the deaths of millions. Nor realize she had the Void Core inside her for some reason.
Unfortunately, having the surname Kaslana sort of ensured things would never go her way.

She took a pen out of her forearm bracer and twirled it between her fingers with a predatory smile. "Oh, no. I just thought I'd prepare it in advance so you only have to sign it."
"Oh, and why-ever for?"
She flipped the pen over so that he could easily take it from her hand, 'coincidentally' pointing it straight at his nose in the process. She shot a quick sideways glance at Sakura before her eyes came back to his and smiled in a way that scrunched her nose cutely. "You sign it, and I take care of your... problem for you." She answered him with a tasteful eyebrow waggle. Kakashi had no idea how she managed to make eyebrow waggle tasteful, seduction specialist sure were something else.
Or: Kakashi is despairing about Sakura's habit to wear civilian perfume, and well on his way to becoming canon Kakashi. Except a chunin kunoichi sees it and decides it's an excellent Opportunity to get Kakashi to owe her one

It takes time to process the memories, but by the time Kankuro becomes a student at the Sunagakure Academy, he's certain he knows: he's in the Naruto universe, a village away, and he's standing next to a ticking time bomb at all times. One that he has an unfortunate urge to hug and tuck in for bed.
Well, at least he gets to indulge in his inner theater kid with the whole puppet thing. That's a bonus. If he can just manage to wait out the worst of it, he might even become strong enough to make a difference in the upcoming war.

Summary
