Chanyeol has opened a lot of doors in his life. Most of the time, they bring him to his run-down apartment. Sometimes, to the restaurant where he works at. Once, though, Chanyeol found himself opening a door, wanting to see who was playing the piano so beautifully. It was supposed to be an innocent peek but he ended up in a parallel world instead.
Park Chanyeol likes to consider himself an alternative sort of vampire: he doesn’t do mansion or capes or tacky dripping fangs. He likes playing pretend at being human, likes blending in and making music and doing what he loves. But then Chanyeol is called back to Korea as vampires begin to be murdered by an unknown threat. There, he meets hunter Byun Baekhyun, and he discovers that he must confront the past he’s been running from for the last ten years if he wants to keep Baekhyun by his side.
If Paris was the diamond of Europe, the Byun sons were the diamonds of Paris. They were six, six roses made of gold and almond, but there was one who stood out amongst the others: his name was Baekhyun, The Sad Prince. Many artists tried to portray his heavenly traits, but he always refused them. Until one day. Until Park Chanyeol came.
