Barred from obtaining a hero license.
How did Izuku end up here? Oh yeah, he killed a guy. But honestly, if that asshole didn’t want to be hunted down for sport and gutted like a pig, why’d he have to go and hurt his Kacchan? It was no secret that he was slightly unhinged, but to his credit, he was able to reign himself in for the most part. That is, except when it came to a certain explosive blond.

Izuku Midoriya was raised to survive the harsh wilderness by his mother. Both being omegas, it was safer out there than in the cities. But when she disappears, the sixteen-year-old has to brave a danger he had never faced before: the prejudice of a village. Years pass, and he yearns for the freedom he once lived. He has nothing keeping him in the oppressive society of his village, so he makes an escape.
His journey is cut short when he is attacked by an alpha, only to be saved by a blonde nightblood who carries him to safety. The thing is, Izuku has never known safety. How is he supposed to trust people he has never met in a place he has never been when everything that used to feel familiar to him was a threat?
Izuku finds home among a subspecies of human called the nightbloods. And, despite their physical superiority, they show him a lot more respect than he is used to.

Bakugou Katsuki is Japan's number one pro hero, reaching this title only in his mid-twenties. Adored and envied by society, it is his duty to pass on his strong, unyielding genes with his explosive quirk to offspring. As an unmated Alpha, and in addition to that the number one hero, he is assigned to the most fertile Omega in the country to knot him in the mating ceremony every Prohero has to participate in.
But this specific Omega never gave birth to pups of the Alphas who have knotted him before. He has special needs that only a top-tier Alpha could satisfy ...
... and to everyone's surprise (not), claiming your Government-arranged-One-Night-Stand is not a really clever idea, to begin with.

It was customary for every child to be assigned a token, short for bride token or bride price, at their coming of age ceremony that was held once a year for the entire village. Everyone who had turned 18 since the last ceremony was welcomed into adulthood and was their worth for the village and their family was judged.
Bakugou Katsuki was the village's pride and joy.
Midoriya Izuku wasn't.

In this timeline, Izuku is a bit faster and stops All Might before he jumps away. He never learns about One for All or All Might's secret. The sludge villain never gets free. And Izuku needs to find a new path for himself.
‘I think that saving people is just about the coolest thing someone can do.’
‘Because of the things I do I am able to make people smile.’
The ability to save someone. The ability to make someone smile. Wasn’t this what Izuku wanted to do with his life? He had always assumed the best way to do that was to become a hero. But maybe there was more to it. Maybe there was something that even Izuku could do.
