Summary
During an investigation of a gruesome crime scene, Jack Crawford makes a startling discovery: a young, frightened boy, covered in blood and refusing to make eye contact. Summary
After they killed Francis Dolarhyde, Will was certain he pulled Hannibal off the cliff with him, but when he wakes up, he’s still on the edge of the bluff, surrounded by FBI agents and paramedics. It’s apparent Hannibal got away safely, and Will is put on the task force to help find him.
When Will finds Hannibal’s journal in his old cell, filled with entries about, and drawings of, himself, he sneaks it into the waistband of his pants and takes it home. The journal contains fantasies of the life Hannibal wishes he and Will could have had. It forces Will into dealing with his own feelings, and figuring out what he wants.
Will can only hope the journal leads him back to the man he aches for.
