A soulmate AU wherein for Dwarves, the words on your forearm are those which your soulmate says to make you realize you’re in love with them. While Bilbo certainly isn’t a Dwarf, the ink on his arm is still evident of a bond.
It should be easy: finish quest, find mysterious soulmate, live happily ever after. Unfortunately, though, nothing is ever so simple as it seems.
