Summary
He needn't have worried. The small one was strong.
He sees the human many more times since then. It seems as if the herd doesn't venture out without it. He wonders if that one is the pack-leader. It seems logical, but humans are not always creatures of logic.
He forces back memories of that one, and continues to shadow the herd whenever it ventures out. He makes a habit of waiting in the small grouping of trees near the gate so as not to miss one of their outings. Eventually he learns to distinguish the small one from the others even before it takes to the air, and he feels proud of this accomplishment.
Months later, only hours after the humans had returned behind their walls, everything changes.
(In which Eren is not a human that can turn into a Titan, but a Titan that can turn into a human.)

But when he arrives on Kepler Omicron and the survival simulation becomes a reality, Jim is forced to make hard decisions as the situation spirals quickly out of control.

Summary
Captain Kirk has everything. A ship. Admiration. Prestige. With everything he has accomplished, he should want for nothing. But to be Captain Kirk, he had to leave a part of himself behind. If he wants to keep his ship, his friendship with Spock, then the young, restless, rule breaker James has to be put aside. He has to stay in the past. He has to keep his pain, self doubt, and worries out of sight and mind, for a captain has to be strong. A captain can never show weakness. Because he is the captain first and foremost, before friendship, before relationships.
When given a charm by a dignitary of a planet, Captain Kirk is promised that it will solve all his problems. But things go wrong. Something is stalking him in the darkness. It wants him. It wants to consume him. A creature that wants nothing but the life and future on the ship. But no one believes him. Not until the bodies begin to pile up, does anyone believe it might exist. By then, it's too late to stop it. It has already awakened.

Summary
Spock creates a videogame in an attempt to study humans to determine if they are ready for first contact. With the new opportunity to interact with the new species, he joins the game to study them first hand.
Jim catches wind of a strange NPC that hangs out in the IDIC tavern in ShiKahr. Everyone thinks it's defective, but Jim thinks it might be a secret event and talks to him. He's strange, and he's kind of cute in a weird way. Starfleet starts getting wind that the game might be controlled by people not of Earth origin, and they begin to question the creators' motives. Will Jim choose Starfleet, a faction he had sworn his life and loyalty too, or a man he had never even met face to face?
