George and Dream start talking things out months after their breakup, and new information brings them back down old paths.The quiet thud of dress shoes hit his eardrums, growing closer and closer by the second. He stopped himself from flinching and curling weakening muscles when the reticent clang and clink of mugs rang in his ears. Instead he swallowed down unwelcome bites of old ramen.
“You really need to learn how to clean up after yourself,” George sighed, the crinkle of his ramen wrapper being balled into a smaller fist than his own sounded in bitter air. “Clay this expired several months ago.”
So did their relationship so why was George still pretending to care about him?

"What's up?" George asked, sensing the serious tone behind Dream's words. His heart suddenly started beating faster, feeling on edge all of a sudden.
"About the whole girlfriend thing-" Dream starts only to be cut off by the Brit.
"Dream, you don't need to tell me that." he said, voice firm in a false sense of put together. George’s once good mood had plummeted so quickly he felt nauseous.
"No, George. Listen to me. I-" he starts again but to no avail.
