Dean and Cas had the kind of love romance novels are written about at the tender age of 18, and although they were sure they could make a long-distance relationship work when circumstances temporarily separated them, not everything went as planned.
Ten years later, Dean is back in their tiny hometown, and although he has his reasons to keep his distance from the only man he’s ever loved, Cas, Sam, and Jess are determined to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Now it seems both Dean and Cas’s happiness depends on Cas proving to Dean that he’s still worth loving despite his imperfections, and Dean accepting the love Cas has to give him even when he feels like he doesn’t deserve it.
Can they make a relationship work again now that they’re back in the same town, or are some things better off staying in the past?
