Ogata is a hitman for the infamous Tsurumi-kai yakuza syndicate. Sugimoto is a reformed ex yakuza. Together, they fight crime. And by 'fight crime', I mean 'embark upon an impromptu roadtrip/hostage situation across Japan in search of a fortune which may or may not actually exist.'
