Prequel to Otherworld. Time to fill in some plot holes.The trees loomed over him, shadows having grown deeper with the creeping promise of sundown; a sight that worried at his instincts and begged avoidance. Stubborn determination kept his feet planted firmly in place. Eyes flickering, he took a deep breath.
Appearances were often deceiving, he knew. Stories exaggerated for the sake of sensationalism.He closed his eyes on his exhale and allowed himself to feel.
The air itself seemed to come alive, flickering tongues of flame that warmed his soul. It was comfortable and welcoming compared to the static of the lower city, and it almost felt like the embrace of an old friend. It invited him forward.

Bokuto stands from his seat, spinning to look at Kuroo, who is still on his phone. “Bro, I’m right here, bro,” he says, making Kuroo look up and smile deviously.
“Did you think I would give up without a fight, bro? $150,” Kuroo leers, lips parting in a grin too sharp to be considered friendly.
Bokuto returns the smile with a bit of a sunnier touch. “It’s more fun if you don’t give up at all, bro. $160.”
“$175. What do you mean, bro?”
“Well, bro-meo,” Bokuto sings, “if we pool our money at, say, $200, then we can go splitskies and share. What do you say broseph?”
Wait...what?A date with Terushima is being auctioned off to benefit the local animal shelter. As if things couldn't get weirder, two (hot) guys from his university get into a bidding war, until one of them gets a bright idea. God gave Teru two hands, but...can his heart handle it?

Yuuji's breath catches in his chest when Daichi presses them close. "Missed you. Sorry I couldn't be around much this past month, but I'm here now."
He grins, sneaks into Daichi's space, lips brushing against skin as a tongue flickers out, silver gliding quick against the strong edge of his boyfriend's jaw. "Missed you too," he whispers. "You still got enough energy to make it up to me tonight, old man?"
A glint appears in Daichi's eyes and something shifts in the air, before Daichi's hand comes up to grip the back of his neck firmly.
A shiver runs down his spine, and Yuuji's grin turns ravenous.
Hell yes, he's getting wrecked tonight.
