"December 16th," Steve says, because waiting for Tony to listen is never going to work. "1991."
"That's…" Tony starts, finally still, finally done with trying to reassure Steve. "You know what that date is?"
"There was a mission report," Steve explains. "Names redacted, but-"
"Don't," Tony interrupts, and it hurts, the way he's looking at him. The combination of denial and comprehension, that he understands but doesn't believe, and Steve wishes his stupid moral compass didn't point due north all the time, that he could have accepted what Tony was offering rather than doing this to him.
But Tony deserves more than that, and if Tony's going to hate him, it's not going to be because Steve has lied about this.
"Tony, I think they made him kill your parents."
Or: While Steve and Sam try to track down Bucky and deal with the remnants of Hydra, Tony attempts to come to terms with his feelings about his parents, their killer, and his and Steve's not-a-relationship relationship.

Summary
Clint, an orphan raised in the Circus had always dreamed of being a superhero and saving the world someday, or at least a city. So when a group of slug-like aliens arrive in the city through a portal in the sewers, and begin destroying anything metal, Clint see's his chance.
Clint finds himself on the same rooftop as the Scary Avenger with the rifle, and manages to prove himself, and his questionable choice of weaponry. Reluctantly, he is allowed to return and help battle the slugs (who just keep coming back), and gets to know the Scary Avenger, who turns out to be the not actually dead Bucky Barnes.

Summary
Winter takes stock.
Things are bad. Winter has never been inside this newest host’s species type before, but he can immediately tell that this one is broken anyways. Built inefficiently, poorly, badly, wrong. The host’s spine is misaligned, its immune system crippled, its eyesight lacking, hearing lackluster, its feet are somehow not the way they should be, the joints ache, the lungs are floundering. Winter’s host can’t even breathe right.
This is it. This is the trap. Winter’s captors think that they can kill it by trapping it in a weak, dying host.
They think wrong.

At this point, Sam’s scanning the coffeeshop for an exit strategy from this terrible date; maybe he can trip a customer into spilling coffee on one of them, or pretend like he’s seen a friend, something, anything. His eye lands on the white guy sitting at the table behind Mike, directly in Sam’s line of sight, but not visible to Mike himself. And okay, hello, stranger. He’s gorgeous, and he’s looking up from the stack of papers on his table, right at Sam. Hot Stranger’s thick-lashed blue eyes are wide, and a pen is dangling from his fingers as if the nonsense happening at Sam’s table has shocked him into interrupting his work.
What the fuck, mouths Hot Stranger.
Sam's on a first date that starts weird and only gets weirder. Thankfully, there's a hot bystander who's ready to be a hero and save Sam from the horrors of app-based dating.
