    Summary

Green filled his vision in the brief second before he instinctively tucked his head away in his coils. Crawly didn’t think there had ever been anything green and growing in Hell save perhaps a good mold behind Hastur’s knees. Cautiously, he inched the very tip of his nose out of his coils and flicked his tongue.

Growing things. Soil. Apples. The oil left behind by human hands. Something strange and sharp smelling. Under it all, a smell he knew but couldn’t place.

    This wasn’t Hell.

    Summary

Crowley has always acted as if demonic summonings are not a big deal. Aziraphale discovers the truth.

    .....

A trio of humans stood in front of a Circle, brightly lit. Inside the Circle, hanging suspended in the air, was a human form. The figure appeared to be a thin male. His long limbs twitched as if he could not control them, and he made a soft, choking noise. Not a human, Aziraphale determined. A human would be dead the moment they stepped into the Circle. And not an angel. An angel would be on his way to Heaven. Which left...demon. Aziraphale studied the wretched creature as his body spasmed again. The movement caused his dark, chin length hair to further cloak his face. It was clear from the noises that came from the demon that he was in pain. With what looked to be considerable effort, the demon took a shuddering breath and pulled his head upright.

    It was Crowley.

    Summary

“You know,” Aziraphale begins, stepping out from under the tree and glancing back to make sure Crowley was coming with him. He was, which shouldn’t come as any sort of surprise. If Crowley wasn’t in step with Aziraphale, he was leading him off on some new adventure, showing him some new side of the world. Aziraphale didn’t know how to move forward without Crowley there at his side, didn’t want to know. “Many people consider rain to be romantic. There are loads of books about getting caught in the rain with the person you love.”

    -- Or:

After all of their plans getting rained out, Crowley and Aziraphale start to think God is trying to tell them something.
