"Louis chewed on his bottom lip and looked out the window and at the evening sky. He hoped that maybe, this could be the start of a friendship. But he didn't care if not. He still hated him a little."
OR where Louis is a badass in high school with his own band and he just wants to live life how he wanted, but unfortunately the new kid messes it all up. Or, maybe he makes it better.
Louis decides to go for a walk when the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night, exiling him from his dorm for a short while. On his walk, he meets a young boy with no shoes and petals in his hair who doesn't mention his tattoos but has a strange fascination with one of his piercings.

“Are you seriously apologizing for taking out a bullet that was lodged in my shoulder and saving my life?” he asks slowly.
“Y—yes?” the boy looks unsure of himself now.
For once, the boy isn’t the only one blushing and Louis silently curses Earthen terminology for making its way into his vocabulary.
Taking a deep breath to regain his composure, he coughs out, “I mean thanks. That was very nice of you…?”
“Harry,” the boy fills in quietly, flashing Louis a tentative smile. Louis thinks it suits him well and he mouths the name to himself, liking the way it rolls off his tongue. He watches as Harry hesitates before asking his own question, albeit doubtfully.
“And you’re—you’re P—Peter Pan, right?”
Or, the one in which Louis is a punk Peter Pan and Harry is an insecure flower child.
He’s completely drenched, not one millimetre of him not covered in rain, and the old sheepskin cover over the seat is probably going to stink afterwards from the damp. But even with what seems to be a constant tremor shaking his body, brown hair plastered to his forehead, and a blue tinge to his skin, he’s still probably the most gorgeous person that Harry has ever seen.
Or, Harry picks up a hitchhiker in Oxford, and it's a long ride to Glasgow.
