Because Alan Alda is the fanboy of all time, he used an AI chatbot to write a new MASH scene, then got Mike Farrell to read it with him on his podcast. And because Alan Alda is apparently still processing his feelings about Hawkeye and BJ 40 years later just like the rest of us, that scene is all about Hawkeye accusing BJ of stealing his underwear.

“You too,” Sidney murmurs, and can’t help the smile that breaks over his face when Hawkeye rolls his head to the side to look at him. “You’re one of a kind, Hawkeye. You were then and you are now. I’m glad to see that hasn’t changed.”

It’s technically gen but since I’ve written Sidney with Hawkeye, Francis, BJ and Sam Pak, I 5001% invite you to read whatever pairing floats your boat into the background of this fic. Somehow Korea got the memo and provided a shockingly nice day for their stroll through downtown Seoul. BJ looks more bemused by the minute but keeps pace with him, hands in his pockets and an easy swing in his stride and Hawkeye feels heady with the trust of it, of BJ following him down unfamiliar streets without question.

tl; dr Every work in this series stands alone, and there are a few I might expand or come back to at some future time.
The prompts for the Leverage holiday exchange were truly amazing and I got so excited to write treats for, like, a dozen of them, and then life hit me with thing after thing that kept me from being able to sit down and properly concentrate on anything until it was already December and I was sad :(
But many of the prompts were in line with things I've been thinking about for awhile and in some cases had already started writing, so I decided I'd write what I could and post what I had under this series umbrella, even things I had planned or hoped would be a lot longer or more developed. So if anything really tickles your fancy please leave me a note and I'll be sure to let you know when I come back to it!

It’s a Tuesday when the invitation arrives, postmarked Missouri from Mrs. Sherman Potter. It’s addressed to “Captain Dr. Hunnicutt” on the envelope, the copperplate warm and majestic all at once, but it opens with “Dear BJ” in Potter’s cramped hand.
The invitation is to come and celebrate Potter’s official retirement from the US Army, and to meet the Potter family properly. “War takes a lot from all of us,” it says, “but don’t let it take real, honest human connection from you, too. Oh, and bring that wife and kid of yours, if they can stand the trip. The grandkids are always looking for more rabble rousers to drag into their shenanigans.“
