Callmesalticidae

Rose♦Terezi image. Or Rose♥Terezi rather, but the only hint of that is an itty-bitty heart in the corner that you can't even see, it's so itty (and bitty).

TG: now this is a story all about how
our lives got flipped turned upside down
and id like to take a minute
    while this tale unfurls
ill tell you how we became the founders of a new world

TT: I believe what Dave means to impart is that, following unfortunately unforeseen circumstances, we determined that the meteor was off-course, fated to wander paradox space forever.

    GA: A Rather Dispiriting Revelation

CG: BUT I DECIDED THAT STICKING OUR THUMBS UP OUR CHUTES AND GIVING UP WAS A FUCKING TERRIBLE IDEA, AND DESPITE CONSTANT STUPID SETBACKS, WE MANAGED TO MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF IT.

GA: It Proved To Be Difficult
Rather Like Making A Tangible Substance From Nothing

    GC: BUT W3 3M3RG3D VICTOR1OUS! TH3 L4W W4S SUR3LY ON OUR S1D3. TH4T 4ND 3XC3LL3NT L34D3RSH1P.

    CG: THANKS.

    GC: 1 D1DN'T M34N YOU.

    CG: FUCK YOU

WV: Please do not fight. I do not believe it is conductive to a civilized and peaceful society.

TC: WeRe AlL pEaCeFuL hErE bRo

TT: Ahem. Regardless, that is the subject of this tale.

    Summary

Once, in this very universe, you could say, Alternia was home to a peaceful race. Trollkind had never known the corrupting influence in their evolution which led them to perpetual war and violence... As was true of the bellicose world we know, there came to be twelve heroes on this peaceful planet. These heroes too had twelve ancestors whose fortunes were entwined with theirs.

The collected stories of the Ancestors of Beforus, revealed and commented upon by their descenants and alternate selves.

Steve Rogers and a very modern form of art therapy.

    Summary

Thor and his efforts to live on Midgard, as opposed to just defending it.

in many ways, he is childlike by Midgard's standards. He cannot read or write any local language, a skill set much more valued and valuable here than on other worlds. He is literate and numerate, of course, in more than just the language of the Aesir, but that does not help him in London or Cleveland or New York. He cannot tell whether the bottle contains soap or condiment, he does not know what a telephone is, or why it is that red lights in the street mean "stop" but on a machine means that it is "standing by" and ready to be used. He cannot contribute to the running of Jane's household, nor is he of any possible use in her work, and the lack of function grates, although he is careful not to take out his frustration on -- or give voice to any doubts about his chosen path to -- Jane or Darcy or Selvig.
