Summary
A bright burst of laughter catches his attention, rising a touch above the general chatter surrounding him, and he returns his focus to the bar as a new bartender joins the first. He can’t make out much from behind other than a slender frame and pale skin but he can’t seem to stop staring. The man is quick on his feet, much faster than his coworker, and attentive. He never hesitates to banter with guests and there’s something familiar about his clear speech and concise words that niggles at Lan Huan like an old song he’s forgotten the lyrics to. He stares at the back of the man’s head as if the secret will reveal itself in the strands of his dark hair.
Or Lan Xichen and Meng Yao must navigate their past to build a new future.

Summary
