Deku shrugged and they continued working. After he finished his English, he moved on to Algebra. Having trouble with polynomials. The two boys were halfway through the worksheet by the time Izuku's Mom showed up. He gathered his stuff, slinging his bag over his shoulder.
"Hey," he handed Bakugou his phone, "can I have your number?" He felt the boy take his phone.
"Gonna take me on a date or something?" He teased, putting his number in Deku's phone.
Izuku was quickly flustered. Why? He barely knew if he liked girls. "Um, only if you want to"
Bakugou laughed and pulled the hoodie over his head. Handing it to his old friend. "See you next week," he made his way to the door, "don't screw up that test"

The early evening light broke through his blinds. Making the apartment appear gray and murky. Bakugou walked into his bedroom. Grabbing a cardboard box out of the recycling. In order to sort Kirishima's belongings.
Bakugou opened his closet and dresser. Turning on the single lamp in the room. It was a lovely Tiffany glass lamp his Mom had gifted him for graduating U. A. The blond carefully rummaged through his drawers. Throwing Kirishima's clothes into the box.
He couldn't be bothered to fold it. He just wanted it out of his apartment. Bakugou didn't want a single reminder of him there anymore. It was too painful. Every piece of fabric reminded him how good Kirishima was.
How stupid he had been to let his emotions fuck everything up. He didn't blame Kirishima. Not even Deku. This was entirely his own fault. Bakugou felt he deserved to feel crushed and alone.

In America, Izuku is assigned a pen pal from Japan. Bakugou-san threatens him daily and curses all too often, but he answers Izuku’s questions and shows interest in his dreams. Oceans away in Musutafu, Katsuki enrolls in the mandatory English course required of all Japanese students. His pen pal is a pain in his ass and asks way too many fucking questions.
They're supposed to be learning a new language. Instead, they discover why crushing on someone across the globe is not the best idea.

Since then its been over a decade since Izuku has seen anyone from his childhood neighborhood, that is until his old bully Katsuki Bakugou wanders into his cafe one morning and the two are forced to meet again.
But it almost seems like Katsuki doesn't remember who Izuku is? And his face keeps getting red for some reason!?(AU where Izuku owns a cafe and is trans, and Katsuki attempts to court the little guy while being terrible at it.)
