16 months ago, Cas became human.
12 months ago, Cas left the bunker and a broken-hearted Dean behind.
Now they must work a case together, where married couples are dying mysterious deaths and the only way to earn the neighbors' trust is by pretending to be married. Slowly, Dean finds that he loves being in a relationship with Cas, fake or not, and Cas finds his loneliness retreating, despite the harsh reality looming right around the corner. As Dean and Cas navigate this fake, but all too real, relationship, can they find the monster that is on a mysteriously motivated killing spree before it’s too late?
Cas is human now, and things aren't going to plan.
(Not that Dean had a plan. Nope. No plans of any kind.)
Anyway, what's a Winchester to do when everything he tries seems to blow up in his face?
Go hunting. Obviously.
(Posts on Fridays until complete)
After killing Chuck, things aren’t great. Mary is still dead, Jack is dead, Castiel is human, and Dean and Castiel’s friendship is broken.
After a rough year in which they have been mostly angry at each other, they’re trying to fix what’s broken, but they’re struggling with life and too many complicated emotions and their feelings for each other. But life has never made anything easy for these two. Will they be able to pick up the broken pieces and put them back together?
Dean deserves a relaxing vacation. What he gets is six days with Cas in tight quarters, in the middle of the ocean, where his feelings for his best friend are getting more difficult to ignore.
