  1. Summary

Berserker'verse is a dystopian AU where everyone in the world has a Daemon, the visible manifestation of the soul. They look like animals, but everyone can tell by looking that a Daemon is a Daemon.

However, there are people, for a variety of reasons, that have lost their Daemon.

The slang term for these people is Husks, and there are social pressures and prejudices surrounding their presumably "soulless" states.

Among the Husks, are Berserkers and Empaths. With careful meditation, an Empath can find their Daemon again, and Empaths are respected to some degree for their ability to calm crowds, talk to frightened people, etc.

Berserkers, with their heightened senses and feral episodes, are a valued military asset, for national and civilian police departments. They are thought to be Peerless in combat, and their strong group-based bonding makes their units formidable in the field.

This series is starting Stargate, but we may see more familiar faces from Earth law enforcement in the future.

Stories will be ordered in the series in chronological order. They will be posted out of series order.

    Summary

The nighttime air was cool against his skin—shorts shorter than the younger man was used to—and it was only a moment or two longer before Stiles was pushing open the bathroom door, eyes squinting against the low glow of the room’s nightlight before flicking the rest of the bulbs on. His gaze was still on the hazier side, details blurred from both pain and the remnants of sleep, but—

    Stiles blinked.

And Laura Hale blinked back, face slowly bleeding itself of color in the mirror that Stiles stood before.

“Oh, shit,” Stiles said—Laura’s mouth moving along with the words—and there was nothing he could do to stop the crimson from bleeding into his (her?) eyes even as an awareness that the magic-user had never met before but instinctively knew began to stir at the back of his mind. “Fuck.

Summary: Stiles was just there to pick Scott up, when this rich dude mistakes him for one of the IT guys. This should be fun.

    Summary

It had been Jackson’s idea, all of this. The thought would never have occurred to Stiles otherwise, to take a knife to someone he loved. Stiles had always had a certain aversion to blood, before, and even more so after the Nogitsune. He didn’t faint at the sight of it anymore; he’d seen too much of it. His hands were drenched with it, the blood of the dozens of people the Nogitsune had slaughtered while wearing his face. Scott’s blood from the sword twisted into his gut.

But this? This was so different.

It was a strangely gentle act. There was no force here, no violence. Only Jackson shuddering beneath him, arching up, begging wordlessly for more because he trusted Stiles to give him just enough. He trusted Stiles to show restraint, to keep him safe. To take care of him in this unique way that no one else could.

No one had ever trusted him this much before.
