She didn't feel much like a hero; she felt like a bumbling fool who had been dropped into a hive of hornets. Heroes found a clear path to follow and never faltered or had doubts. Heroes wooed and won the people they loved. If she was making a story of their adventures, she thought ruefully, she would have made a better tale.
